Overheard in 9th Grade English

The kids were reading Lord of the Flies and had to do a creative writing assignment that takes place 10 years after the ending.

student 1: what if…Ralph is gay
student 2: no, what if…Jack is gay

student 3: no wait! what if…they’re both gay??
